The Society has grown from a small Rotary initiative started in 1958 to caring for approximately 800 residents in 4 frail care facilities, 2 assisted living complexes, 8 blocks of flats and 2 cottage complexes. Frail care facilities, flats and service centres are situated throughout Somerset West and the neighbouring areas of Garden Village, Macassar and Lwandle.
Our residents come from all walks of life, and we strive to provide a range of services to address the needs of all. To do this is effectively, the Society directly employs some 300 people with a further 100 outsourced personnel.
