The Training Centre, which was founded in 1991, is approved by the South African Nursing Council as a training facility. Since its inception, some 2300 learners have been registered with the Centre. Many of these auxiliary nurses and care givers have gone on to further their Nursing career through one of the State or Private teaching hospitals.
Our programmes are aligned with the National Qualification Framework. (NQF)

Interview skills, communication workshop and on the job training

Practical Training is offered at the following facilities:

• Helderberg Lodge
• Robari Lodge
• Silver Oaks Lodge
• Zandvliet Care Facility
• Hottentots Holland Hospital
• New Somerset Hospital, Green Point.
• City of Cape Town Community Services and Provincial Government Western Cape.
