Volunteer Services
Sharing your energy with older people will enrich your life in unexpected ways. Not only will this community outreach service as a volunteer for the Helderberg Society for the Aged broaden your horizons, it will also add a new dimension to your time.

Making new friends, improving your skills and a feeling of well-being are but a few of the benefits you stand to gain.

Services that enhance our residents' quality of life are wide and varied and include: Entertainment by playing a musical instrument or as accompaniment to a choir, singing, assisting with art or handcrafts; reading books to the visually challenged, mending clothes, or using your pets to provide animal therapy.

On a different note, you could provide transport, help in the kiosks, assist with games, walk with residents, or help at fund raising events. Whatever your skill or talent, rest assured that every contribution counts. The three minutes it takes to complete an application form could be the most celebrated decision you've ever made.
